Who We Are

Noah’s Ark Sports Academy is a community-based nonprofit built to support youth, families, and underserved communities through sports, fitness, and education. We believe athletics can be a powerful tool for confidence, discipline, and opportunity when paired with mentorship and real-world learning. Our work is rooted in accessibility, inclusion, and long-term impact both on and off the court.

Our programs are designed to meet people where they are, creating safe, supportive environments where growth is encouraged at every level. From youth camps and skill development to fitness guidance and educational opportunities, Noah’s Ark Sports Academy focuses on building consistency, character, and confidence through hands on experience. We work closely with local leaders, mentors, and volunteers to ensure everything we do stays community driven and impactful. At its core, Ark exists to open doors, create opportunity, and invest in people for the long run.

Mission Statement

To empower youth and underserved communities through multi-sport training, mentorship, and educational programming that bridges the gap between athletic development and real-world skills. Noah’s Ark Sports Academy creates inclusive, community-driven spaces where children and families can grow, be seen, and access opportunities that foster personal, academic, and athletic success.

Vision Statement

To become a national model for community-based sports and educational development — a trusted hub where youth and families in under-resourced areas gain access to training, mentorship, and future-focused learning across sports, media, technology, and the arts. Our vision is to create an ecosystem of support that inspires youth, uplifts communities, and cultivates leaders on and off the field.

Purpose Statement

Noah’s Ark Sports Academy exists to advance youth development, community enrichment, and educational access by offering free and low-cost programs in sports, mentorship, and creative and career-based learning. Through camps, workshops, training sessions, and community events, the organization seeks to reduce barriers to participation and create pathways for youth and families to thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. All programs are designed to serve the public good, especially in underserved and rural communities.

Meet the Founder

My name is Noah Bacchus, and I was born and raised in East Jordan, Michigan, a small community that shaped who I am and instilled in me a deep appreciation for connection, hard work, and giving back. In 2014, during my senior year of high school, basketball played a defining role in my life when a buzzer beating shot helped lead our team to a historic run. The moment was celebrated by the local newspaper as “Noah’s Ark,” a phrase that stuck and later became a symbol of something bigger than the game itself, community, belief, and opportunity.

After earning my bachelor’s degree in business from Grand Valley State University and spending the last five years living in Miami, I felt called to bring those experiences back home. Noah’s Ark Sports Academy was created in response to a lack of accessible resources in smaller communities, whether in athletic development, fitness, nutrition, or education around modern technology and innovation. This nonprofit is rooted in the belief that both youth and adults deserve guidance, opportunity, and support to grow. By combining my passion for sports with my background in business and education, my goal is simple, to serve the community, inspire confidence, and help the next generation win, on and off the court.
